Not surprising at all. It makes sense evolutionarily. Similar to how animals select breeding partners, the strong men throughout time were the leaders of the pack getting all the puss. They didn't need handouts to succeed.
That being said, I think for the first time in history we're starting to see weak men (physically) rise in the hierarchy of society, with the dominant role of technology.
This next generation, the successful men will be techies and computer geeks. Over time I think evolutionarily we'll see a decrease in testosterone unfortunately.

Yea, that commercial makes me cringe. I've already resigned myself to the fact that my daughter will likely bring home one of the pansies in about 15 years. Hopefully this latest generation isn't made up only of these "guys."

I don’t think so, depending on the development of robotics.
I think the machine and techie geeks along with it are going to be smashed pretty soon.

Google, Apple, Intel, IBM....these are the companies that will basically run society in the future. Look at the people who work there.

Unless robotics somehow obviate the need for testosterone in the near future, I think testosterone is about to make a big comeback.
You only have to look at population trends to see which way the wind is blowing for humanity.

This is pretty easy to understand and has always been plainly obvious to me.
As a man, a lot of our identity is our physical strength and stature as it allows us to stand up to other men as an individual, therefore an alpha. If you're physically weak or lack confidence in your physical abilities you're more likely to lean on pack mentality as you need the strength of the men around you in order to bolster your confidence. That pack mentality in modern society roughly equates to socialism.
Conservatives and or Libertarians tend to be more fiercely independent and confident than socialist
