Men who are physically weak are more likely to favor socialist policies.

An academic study from researchers at Brunel University London assessed 171 men, looking at their height, weight, overall physical strength and bicep circumference, along with their views on redistribution of wealth and income inequality. The study, published in the Evolution and Human Behavior journal, found that weaker men were more likely to favor socialist policies than stronger men.

Brunel University's Michael Price believes this may be a product of evolutionary psychology. "This is about our Stone Age brains, in a modern society," said Dr. Price. "Our minds evolved in environments where strength was a big determinant of success. If you find yourself in a body not threatened by other males, if you feel you can win competitions for status, then maybe you start thinking inequality is pretty good."

Makes sense. I imagine if these little boys existed in cave men times, they wouldn't be the ones hunting and gathering.

True. Most of the weaker men wouldn't even survive. They would only survive if someone showed mercy on them. And if they learned to cook and clean.

I did not need a study to reach the same conclusion.

They'd basically have to be the first trannies. We all know people in old times were banging their Bros like crazy.

Least surprising study ever?

Has anyone met a grown man that can actually take care of himself that also voted for Hillary/Obama/Bernie? All the ones I know are total pussies and couldn't change a tire if they got a flat.

I think stuffed in locker syndrome is real as well, not to say that all liberals are dorks, but I feel like there is definitely a % that are the way they are as a "frick you" to institutions they feel rejected from.

I taught my son how to change tires by having him rotate the tires on both his and his mom's Tahoes. And yes, I made him do it with the tire tool instead of my impact.

Organized religion was formed first and foremost to establish and instill acceptable social morals and norms into society before the technology for a powerful central government to do so on a population existed. Taxes paid to the government are really no different than tithings to the church. Large government is the new religion. So if you believe that it takes a weak man to pay the church what it's asking for then you must also believe that those who want large government and high taxes are also weak men.
