I moved away from La when I was 17
I have lived in Texas, Utah, Oklahoma, Japan, North Carolina, and Georgia. Hence the thread. I am trying to understand the mindset of the 20-somethings now days.
Hell, guys can even say they want to apply on here but a simple email is apparently too tough.

I used to recruit college kids for summer jobs and I pissed a lot of Louisiana parents off because many of them ended up moving out of state after graduation.
I was the most hated person at this one girls wedding because she moved to California the day after graduation and her Bayou Lafourche family didn’t understand.
My impression though is that young adults are more mobile than ever before. I don’t know about Louisiana, but traditionally it’s one of the least transient places I’ve ever encountered.

It’s because they don’t need to. Kids today are living at home with parents longer. Live with parents = not as much responsibility or need for money.

Had I not been working for my family's company throughout college, this would've been a dream job over the summer. Crazy to think you'd have trouble finding younger kids to do manual labor type jobs....well, I guess not really now that I think about it
I have long considered going back to school for my masters and if I get into the right program, this might be something I'd look at it. Might have to send an email your way. Are you looking to hire ASAP or do you hire throughout the year?

For this, it can go from about March through August or September, depending on your school schedule.
I hire now to start in April or May, but I do have a couple spots for immediate action if somebody is ready to roll(once finished training of course).
