I don't have the time to get nitty gritty with this but look it up. It's been a couple of years since I was taught all this.

Could poor decisions, such as self-medication, also lead to poor healthcare. Or rather, poor health?

Of course they could, and they do. But I'm not of the conservative inkling that personal responsibilith and accountability can fix all ills. It's just patently false, ignorant, and emotionally/intellectually defunct and bankrupt. Other factors could exacerbate or accelerate these poor choices.

Poor healthcare --- suboptimal care that can induced by a variety of factors, including patient self care and provider related care.

My only fear of CFA is that it will jeopardize my waistline. It's the most delicious fast food out there by a country mile.

If you don't think peoples biases can or do creep into their professional lives/work in all professions , then you live in very naive world.

My sister-in-law graduated from Baylor.

In some ways she's very much a feminist; in others she's very much a Louisiana girl.

Of course not, but if you're dealing with a trans person, you might want to consult with one

No. I'm one of the few here who wants to help the less fortunate. People create regulations that are reasonable for one reason: they want to help. Children are obese and out of shape. Who wants to help them? Progressives. The right? "They have the right to be overweight."

I'm again not talking about draconian laws. Reasonable is the key. And nothing that impinges on free speech. You want to bash on progressives? have at it. I do not like the progressives who try to shout down dissent.

You want dietary regulations to be created by the same government that gave us the food pyramid?

Proof read baw. Proof read.

And you'd be wrong. Self determination, high self worth, and making the right choices can lift even the lowest of low out of poverty.

The lazy way of going about things is to blame other factors. Ohhhh I didnt have a computer at home!

So you made a choice to hang out with friends over going to a public library.

Life ain't fair. Stop making excuses and fight your own battles. When you stop relying on others and learn to rely on yourself, you become enlightened and can find a lot more upward mobility.

Oh yeah. Someone with a massive identity crisis and mental illness should go seek help from someone with a massive idienty crisis and mental illness.

Should a suicidal person seek help from another suicidal person?

Again, you gave me nothing as well.

Although I do agree with much of that, your intellectual walls seem to be unable to let you perceive reality. You're mindset is basically "that's the way it is."

That's how a defeatist thinks

Uh... That's because that is the way it is.... Your life is a series of choices. Choices that YOU ALONE make. Where you end up in life, how successful or unsuccessful you are, amounts to the decisions that YOU made.

Do I study, or go play ball with the boys? Do I go to class or go drink at the pool? Do I sell drugs or work as a waiter?

The only person you can blame for your failures or give credit for your successes is yourself. Your parents can't take your test. They can't study for you. Living in the inner city doesn't make the homework Any different.

YOU are in the driver's seat of YOUR life. YOU control YOUR destiny. To blame any other factors but yourself is just willfully ignorant.
