At least it’s unique with some color instead of everything being some shade of grey, white and tan with the usual live laugh love type decor

With age I see 1960 and 1970 bold colors and patterns updated with minimalism and cleaner lines.

Yeah, we've really reached a design age where anything outside of this muted bland nothingness is seen as some sort of crazy outlandish over the top choice. It's weird.
I do feel like that place needs a rug or two, though.

My friend's wife thinks that she is a designer. My friend is constantly considering when it is worth putting his foot down and saying no or just letting her go with it. Their house would probably look like this if he never told her no.
