Yea they have been bad to deal with. Sadly State Farm wasn't too far behind in shittiness. After Rita, State Farm was awesome. They sure took a turn to shite.

Oh yea you took over your moms house or something.

I have seen the "were you dropped by Geovera?" postings seeking claimants for some class action, though.
They have been really shitty to people. I have dealt with them and still am dealing with them for some clients of mine.

Most recent Euro shows just west of Vermillion Bay. LC spared the worst wind. GFS pretty similar except for intensity. I don’t like seeing them both agree here as a Lafayette Parish resident.
If the next run or two stays consistent Rob Perillo might blow a wad in his pants.

Rob was epic with his fearcasting as Laura made landfall. He was duped by it being a max intensity hurricane with a smaller wind field.

I hear you. Even though it is still a unknown without any kind of circulation or formation, seeing agreement makes me nervous. No offense to the Houston folks, but I could have hugged my monitor when the latest HWRF showed Houston.

Not trying to hit the bingo card. Just saying we don't even have a center yet.

Yea a Cat 2 and I may ride it out in South LC. Anything more than that I will play by ear.
Played that game about 19 yrs ago, forget what storm but I remember we had a newborn. Was in SLC and it blew up to a Cat 3 and I-10 was bumper to bumper both ways. Felt helpless and stupid putting my family at risk. Luckily the storm shifted and went in around Marsh Island.

just closed on a rental I paid cash for. It's still damaged from last year's storms so I wasn't in a hurry to add insurance until I started the repairs in a few weeks. My agent just texted me back and came through with a vacant home policy for it and now I sort of hope it blows away as I will triple my money without touching it.
I may have a house for sell soon if you’re wanting to turn profits

It'll be just me, my wife, and our pets. Not a big deal but I really don't feel like evacuating after last year spending 4 weeks in NOLA and I don't think power or water will be down long after all the upgrades to both systems from last years disasters
