Are the lineman from out of town really sent down here with no place stay? Or is this just a classic example of a Facebook rumor taking off. Wondering because I see a several businesses asking for donations to open their places for the lineman to sleep & eat.

I live in Madisonville near Grand Oaks. Was told by lineman directly tomorrow once Cleco finished one last pole tomorrow. Said their lines are going to feed the substation on 22 for now. I’ve seen trucks the last 3 days. Didn’t see any late today bc they were finished this morning in our area. Time will tell if he was full of shite or not

I posted in another thread we need a stickied thread on Entergy. I'm sure this is sensitive as a lot of posters probably work for Entergy or have relatives who do.

As John Young said after Isaac, "where is Entergy!?". This incompetent woke corporation never learns its lesson because nobody makes them.
Entergy’s automated phone system is awful, as are the lags for permanent power hookup, but Entergy earned my respect during LCH rebuild. They’re extremely well coordinated, but the magnitude of this rebuild is astonishing.
