I have a question. Say this does come within the vicinity of Baton Rouge and at a minimum, dumps a lot of rain for several days. With the waters still high in many areas, what would this truly do in addition to what we are dealing with. Need to know if I should go ahead and ship everything that's left of what I own to Canada.

Recon flight. Center of circulation is right where the 20-20-30kt winds are betweencuba and hispaniola.

Nothing drastic, just posting new info

It's wind direction and speed. Each little dash represents a different observation from the weather reconnaissance flight.

The high pressure system in the southeast is gonna stop any northern turn and gonna slide it into the gulf. What it does when it's in the Gulf is the big question and no one knows right now.

Thanks. I'm just asking what our fate here in BR is if at a minimum it drops a lot of rain on us. I'm honestly trying to strategically plan my schedule as to have meetings in north Louisiana next week, where I'll pack up and head with the fam if this little storm decides to head this way.

Some good people up in those parts may not be as much to do, but it's close to home.

Well for starters, all of that shite that we all helped to move out and tear out isn't going to be out by the road anymore. Jesus what a fricking mess that would make. I don't even like thinking about it.

Yeah I considered worst case, the crap by the roads would put the proverbial nail in the coffin of some of these houses if the wind was anything significant. And at best (or still worst considering the saturation levels), just dump rain. Either scenario makes me want to hop a flight to never land with the lost boys.

You directed this at me. May I ask why? I said it is likely that it gets into the Gulf and no one can predict with any certainty this far out what happens then.

Am I wrong?
