I don't understand the willingness to openly support it. Just don't make a big deal about it.

For instance, a store has no posters or bullshite indicating they support it. Someone complains. Just say "we support it, we just don't feel the need to decorate."

I'm gay -- most of my opinions and beliefs are at odds with your stereotypical gay.

The Gay Gestapo crossed the Rubicon long ago from simply "we just want equal rights and to not be discriminated against" to "You must, without question or hesitation, bow down to us and openly celebrate and support everything about us, or we will come after you and destroy you."

That tactic hardly jives with their favorite tagline of "love and tolerance" they like to plaster on banners, shirts, etc.. What they mean is that you must love, tolerate and accept them, but don't you dare ask for that consideration to be reciprocated -- it won't be and they feel less than zero need to do so.

And what's more: they don't see that they are JUST AS, if not MORE, intolerant than the very people they blast for being intolerant of them. They live in some alternate reality in which they truly believe they are still oppressed at every turn, when in reality, gays in America are supremely privileged, in comparison to both gays in other countries, and non-gays in America just the same.

Their hypocrisy is staggering and corporate America will continue to pander to them because they are more vocal than the opposition, or even the people who don't give a shite either way.

Idk. I see more and more gay people. The dudes are changing. Used to noice them by them being in really good shape and wearing sharp clothes.

Now I notice them by wearing ugly arse "trendy" casual wear and having dad bods.

Just my observations. Have a good day.

Same family.

Not surprised Meijer caved to gay crap.

Honestly, I don't really care. These places have the right to do what they think is best for their business.

If you take two of the same store, same prices, etc and put them next to each other. One supports pride month and the other one doesn't.. And at the end of the month, the store that does has double the business than the other store, I don't blame the store that didn't show support decided to show support the next year.

You got to think about it. If a gay person was going to do business somewhere, they are going to go somewhere that seems to welcome them.. And that person has family and friends who will think about their gay friend if given the option to go somewhere that supports gay people.

Then you have the people who doesn't really care if they are supporting gay people or not who decide to go there for one reason or another.

Like this cookie store in Texas.

Texas Monthly

They lost business because they supported gay rights and when people found out, people from all over came out to support them that they had more business than they could handle.

So if I am in charge of marketing or making decisions that will impact sales.. I am supporting the frick out of pride mouth. Is it because I care? No. My only interest is the bottom line.

So every store is finally able to open again. You think you want the gays coming after them and further preventing business? If you don't want a rainbow, don't buy one.

It pisses me off because if I’m in the store with my young and impressionable children and they ask me what the frick pride month is and why there’s a big section for it, I’m telling them it’s bullshite and a made up thing for people with mental illness. frick this shite.

STOP JAMMING THIS shite DOWN SOCIETY’S THROAT!!!

Homosexuality is immoral and wrong. Live your life the way you want, don’t impose it on me or my children, and go about your business. I think it’s wrong but it doesn’t affect me so go for it, just don’t expect my children to be more well fricking rounded by knowing that you shove dicks up your arse or scissor you your girlfriend’s pussies together. My children will instead be taught that that’s not natural and goes against every part of nature and God’s way possible while at the same time accepting homosexuals as people with the understanding that they’ll answer for their ways one of these days. Tolerance does not equal approval.

The average person, whether gay, straight, black, white, red or yellow just wants to live our life.

Everyone should have equal rights.. It's insane to think certain group of people should have less rights than others. The problem comes with the over correctness.

Who are you to say its immoral and wrong? Do you choose to be straight? Could you be sexually attracted to a male if you wanted to?

What if the roles were reverse and the expectations were for you to be with men, but you really wanted to be with women?

Just because you don't understand it or don't agree with it doesn't mean its immoral.

Interesting take.
There does seem to be some pent up rage in society today. Doesn't matter if it is black women, gay men, trans, suburban whited dudes. Everyone on the internet just seems mad.
Everyone just honestly needs to chill the F out. I wish I lived in slower times.

I’m sure it has nothing to do with the fact that gay people tend to have more disposable income than straight people. /s
