On the one hand, sounds liked a jacked up situation. On the other, Silky Slender is involved so I automatically think he's full of shite and the story is too. And the dude is in what appears to be a nice, dry-fit type LSU polo, when he is traveling from mobile to Cali (maybe someone gave him a shirt, esp with how generous that neighborhood is) . Anyone heard anything about this, just seems that there is more to the story?

LINK

ETA - I love how they are flying the African flag in the pics on WAFB, which is the only news channel to have it online at the moment.

Probably caught him stealing. Of course we have to have a protest about everything now though instead of just letting the legal system work its course. I'm moving to Montana.

Why do black people assume anytime a non black person treats them poorly it's racism?? They have the mentality of children.

Si? What’s the question here? Should I have said Pan-African flag? There’s a pic on wafb showing a wildebeest rocking this flag, with her hand held up in black panther salute.

I would be more than willing to bet this guy didn’t just walk in, and have handcuffs slapped on and be held at gunpoint by the store owner. Unless he’s starting his own modern day slave trade, and this guy was the first participant. Curious to see what comes out with this story.

Then you would be correct, as per the article.

I love the guy in the picture on WAFB.com behind these idiots protesting walking into the store. It seems like the boycott is working.

The homeless guy probably will not show up to court. Basically just a waste of time.

Do you go by Captain Obvious or Lieutenant Literal?
So the guy goes in the night before to get his grub on, goes back the next day and the owner just went nuts. Not to mention the store owner literally left his store to track this guy down, whereas he pointed a gun at multiple parts of his body, threw the silver jewelry on and brought him back. And cops were waiting at the store when they got back? I’m just a simple Mississippi boy, but it kinda sounds like there’s more to this story than the “journalist” is reporting, no?

1. That's what their corrupt leaders tell them to believe, and they follow like good little sheep.

2. They apparently have nothing else to do all day. You'd find me dead before you find me protesting.

There is definitely more to this story. That is the best dressed and clean cut homeless man I've ever seen. He's wearing a fricking Dri-Fit Polo and North Face jacket.

Ummmmm I put the link up. Not sure where you're going with this, but I think you've confused yourself about something.

I was more referencing the responsible journalism and wafb being first to post this story, which seems to be the going trend in our media these days. Whoever is first wins, truthful or not. This article isn't quite that informative. I guess media just likes us to make up our own reality with the lack of info they provide.

Homeless "victim" of kidnapping by store owner was arrested for carjacking on Tuesday (unrelated case). WAFB

quote:

Officials say on Tuesday, officers were called out to a motel on Greenwell Springs Road around 9:30 p.m. about a disturbance. When they got to the scene, the officer spoke with King, who was in a white Dodge pickup truck. The officer reportedly ordered King to get out of the truck, which he did not do. He was told again to get out of the truck. King then reportedly jumped out of the driver side window and was not wearing any clothes.

The officer then spoke with the victim, who said he was parked at the office of the motel in his white work truck when King walked up to him and hit him in the forehead with a closed fist. King then reportedly pulled the man out of his truck, got into the truck, and drove it to the back of the motel.
