I would like to thank our hardworking members of Congress (Mitch, Pelosi, etc.) for working so hard to get these checks out quickly. We say they are worthless but when it comes down to it they have our backs.

Wait till this time next year this won’t be your feelings.

Some of the same people that complain about 1st and 15th government assistance are happy about the 2021 Trump Bucks New Year entitlement. Hypocrisy has no boundaries.

Like shutting down the country unnecessarily which caused the need for the checks? In the long run, having your back would have been leaving the country open. This song and dance will cost us so much more in the long run.

You think people in the 22% tax bracket are not paying much in taxes? Geez, what percentage of taxes do you consider to be “much”?

30+%

I should say that is with how things are now. In reality 22% is way too much

to be fair, if you're in the 22% tax bracket, your effective tax rate is in the low 10s.

There are very few actual conservatives on this website. Bring up totally getting rid of TOPS and watch so many defend their handout.

You aren't paying 22% on all of your money, just the marginal dollars.
