Hey OT med specialist.

So they carved out a piece of my foot belowe the ankle due to a mole 10 days ago. 4 stitches in foot. Should that be closed up and almost healed by now? Have a long stretch of work coming and don't want it to open or pull a stitch out.

We good? Stitches are due out next Thursday.

About the same time it takes to shave your vagina.

I had a piece of stitch hanging out of my stomach from when I had my gallbladder taken out that was about 4 inches long and the doctor just grabbed it pulled it out a little and cut it and it snapped right back in. Scared the shite out of me

ETA it wasn’t 4 inches ,it was about 2 inches.

Should be good. But it depends on what kind of work you’re doing. Walking around a good bit should be fine. If you stomp grapes or are a professional dancer I’d wait.

I am an RN so maybe I can help. Expect 10-14 days then they can come out. Good luck.

Thanks for the one intelligent response.

For the rest...

No it doesn't hurt. It's fricking fine in that dept. I just don't want to have to go back in in the middle of a turnaround to have this thing restitched up. Time is money. Just want to know if I need to still hobble around as a precaution. Or can I just return to normal.

The lack of pain leads me to think it's fine. I don't want it to be a false sense of it's healed. These turnarounds are big $$$

It takes dedication to cut a hole in your foot just so you can post a subtle plant operator brag.

Nope keep swinging. I have a brain and use it. I don't sit around playing Candy crush all day thinking about the needless shite I need to buy on my long off.

No truck nuts either.

Buy new shoes/boots. Old ones are full of germs. Change your socks a couple of times each shift, use lots of foot powder to keep it dry. Don’t get the foot wet. You’ll be fine just keep it clean and dry.
