I can watch that and smell the mid 70's.
It's a mixture of coppertone, a new tube for a bicycle tire, and the spray on stick-em from pee-wee football.

She was never attractive
She had a song written about her by a punk band in the late 70s titled "Sit On My Face Stevie Nix". I don't think that would have happened if she was unattractive.

True. Tango in the Night and Mirage were kind of stale. Sounded too corporate. At least Tusk and Sarah sounded more like traditional FM

IMO Lindsay Buckingham is the most creative genius in FM. Nick's would be second.
No, that would be Christine McPhee(RIP)

Tusk was all Lindsay Buckingham.
true, he considers it more or less his first "solo" album
quote:
He pretty much demanded to have full creative control over that album,
they way I've heard it, he was the only one somewhat sober enough to hold it together at the time and he took over almost by default
quote:this is the case, certainly from a commercial standpoint
I don't think FM would have been what they were with just him or with just Stevie. It took both of them being part of that band to shoot them to the top.

I don’t get the obsession over her. She’s not that attractive and her voice is repulsive. She sounds like Honey Boo Boo’s mom yelling from the steps of the doublewide in Seventeen.
I guess it’s a case of willing beats pretty because that’s the only thing that makes the obsession with her make sense.

so you're saying that she was that generation's Britney Spears or Taylor Swift?

no denying that she was an absolute horn dog(God bless her,) and drunken druggie, but to say she wasn't hot or talented is hogwash

Both are solid examples.

Exactly.
People wanna be edgy w/their opinions and think it's cool to bang on Stevie's talent when in reality it makes them look like morons.

Thanks for letting me and the rest of the board know not to take your shitty music opinions seriously.

So you think Britney is some sort of musical talent?

She also killed Don Henley's baby.

Christine was the talent
Stevie was the eye candy.
Stevie was the eye candy.

Now you're moving the goalposts.
You put Stevie on a par musically w/Taylor Swift when she blows Swift out of the water. And I like Taylor.

don’t know about that, that band had been slogging around in mediocrity for years before they traded for the Buckingham Nicks duo

Fleetwood Mac was better without Buckingham/ Knicks, back in the days when Peter Green was the frontman .
