Fox just said his pelvis is shattered. I am unaware of how long it takes to heal, or replace that. Here's hoping he heals quickly.

Not sure what this guy's source is but said bullet is still inside Scalise. Evidently a very critical time period right now.

well if they are/were having trouble stopping bleeding, organs are damaged due to bone fragments, and still haven't been able to locate bullet... i'm sure its a pretty complex issue right now

yeah, that other thread was posted right after I asked and I watched some of the presser. The news is certainly good, but he's far from out of danger. As long as things go well, it looks like he can make a pretty full recovery.

The bullet fragmented and broke his leg as well as damaged internal organs. They have stablized the internal bleeding for now and they believe he has potential for an "excellent" recovery. Looks like he will walk again!

I hope this is the case. Things could have been much worse, but thankfully it wasn't and I hope he makes a full recovery. I wish the shooter would still be alive, with injuries, so he could know that he "accomplished" absolutely nothing.. Death was the easy way out for him..
