Do you have European, especially northern European ancestry?

You can probably see where I'm going with this, but it could be a cold weather adaptation combined with the allergies, which creates problems.

If it's a jaw growth/apnea issue, I'm a huge believer in palate expanders. They're very effective in children.

Very much so. Scottish, German, and English. Blondes and redheads and blue eyes and green eyes.

One of my best and oldest friends (whom I’m actually flying to see tomorrow) sent me this thread. He isn’t on TD. He has been dealing with autism etc for 19 years w multiple kids. And very specifically the issues you describe. And stem cells treatments.

He told me to ask you to email him at his “burner email”: [deleted—so glad y’all made contact!]

I recommend it. (I’ve been on here over 20 years if that lends any cred that I’m not just blowing smoke.)

Get him evaluated by an independent physician who hasn't seen him before. Don't mention the word autism. See if they say something different when it's open ended.

So we ended getting back that he's a level 2 or 3 possibly as far as ASD. He just turned 3 and is somewhere between 16 months and 2 years in most things according to them.

If anyone has an recs around North or NE MS for pediatricians that specialize, it'll be much appreciated.

Also ours is a super picky eater. Any suggestions for helping coax him into eating a few more foods.

Has anyone used stem cell therapy on their children that have autism or a neurological condition? If so, what have been the results?

Just a question, I'm not trying to play devil's advocate but this procedure sounds expensive (like 6 figures) and I would bet you're not going to get insurance to pay even a penny for this as they cite "experimental" or other exclusion type.
