Poor, dim-witted TDS9 cranking out 10 empty and repetitive posts in a 3 hour period about Cracker Barrel. But don’t worry, he totally doesn’t care about or support their virtue signaling. Nope, not even the tiniest bit. Just a completely normal, healthy level of not-caring...
uhoh, the Centrist mask fell off again. whoops!

Steak and Shake is making moves lately. They’re very popular right now with the crypto community because they’ve made a major outreach and are now accepting bitcoin and playing it up on social media. Now this. They’re definitely putting up a fight to be relevant so I’ll give them that.

You suspect that there was even this level of thought put into this.

I'm just laughing at you crybabies. You're a pathetic group.

And your ilk is bad at getting worked up over inconsequential bullshite.
I mean it's a damn logo. But again, it's the new Bud Light currently and you morons will move on to something else to cry about soon enough.

where in my posting history in this thread can you point to me being upset. I’m simply participating in a debate. You’re slinging out personal insults (because you can’t substantiate an actual point on your own)

And you have to ask yourself “why would any company want to be the next Bud Light?”

Who is the Armadillo? Texas Roadhouse?

To change up the concept of a restaurant when your primary customer base is a group of people that resist change... Good luck with all of that.

Only Sydney Sweeney can save Cracker Barrel at this point

Cracker Barrel changing their logo is breaking up nuclear families.

Y’all want to blame “woke”. I blame Joanna Gaines and her shiplap terrorism.

Yeah, I'm really struggling to understand how any of this became political.
This seems like a straight up appeal to middle aged white women to me.
I'm sure they ran some analysis that told them their customer base was older and dying, so this is an attempt to appeal to bland Millennial aesthetic, which seems about 5 years too late.
And Millennials, if anything, love nostalgia (its my biggest gripe with my generation), so to echo everyone's sentiments, this seems dumb.
I have a feeling that they only did this for a few test stores, and the old stores, especially in the South, will stay the same.

Were they in a great financial place as a company before this dumb move? Well this will not help for sure. Didn’t these corporations pay any attention to the bud light debacle??

That’s my thought as well. The older crowd is pretty established there (at least in my area).
They need to be more concerned with the quality of the food post-COVID. Some watery chicken and dumplings a few months ago about sent me to an early grave.
