I think the main point that pisses people off is the truly sane people in Nola now realize how shity of a city it truly is. All the homers can say whatever they want but a mayor blamed the cities problems from 1960 on, on the statues. An actual elected official said this. If
You elect such officials your city is truly worthless

Don't try to gain political capital off the back of African Americans that were slaughtered in a church. If that shooting never happened then this would've never been brought up and anyone with a brain knows that.

Because my local government just blew a million dollars despite claiming to be too broke to fix streets and too divided to help the education system.

And now when I drive past the entrance to city Park there's a giant piece of shite that looks like vandalized blight and the same city has no plans or care to fix it.
