Maybe it is the hype, but I am always underwhelmed by Texas.

Texas has some very pretty areas. Big Bend and Guadalupe Mountains come to mind.

Spinoff: San Antonio is boring AF.

That's because she already lives in Louisiana.

The Alamo is interesting. Maybe some places on the coast are too.

Other than that you can see the Mexican border. And the detention camps that are the subject of so much controversy.

I agree that Texas seems pretty lame relative to its size.

Stop talking. You know nothing.

Or you do and this is a decent alter. Either way.

I want to visit all 50 before I die, got to be Iowa or Indiana for me... been to Delaware, some semi nice beaches with boardwalks, nice marshes. Been to Kansas, no reason to return. Been to Ohio, only reason I go back is for cedar point, LSU plays at OSU or I’m so sick I need consult at Cleveland clinic. Need to cross the Dakotas off once but I’m not excited about it, unless I go for a hunting trip

She moved to Arizona. It is the Kmart version of Colorado.

3rd rate hiking.
3rd rate golf.
4th rate offroading.
3rd rate watersports.
Too hot to do any of that.

But they sell it like it is some hidden gem.

Good one that I forgot to think of.

I'm trying to decide if Iowa should be fourth or fifth least interesting for me. (Ahead of or behind Minnesota.)

Sedona and GC were cool. Not much else, though.

Atlantic City might be ok to visit. You can gamble. You can also see all the Monopoly properties. And you're in the most shocking city in the US to be south of the Mason Dixon line.

I have zero desire to visit NJ either.

But I'd visit NJ long before I'd visit Kansas, North Dakota or Nebraska.
