Construction is insane and so poorly planned. Drove from Texas to Baton Rouge and spent 10% of the distance in one lane due multiple construction projects and 50% of the time in traffic. Who is planning all of this and why now? It took me 6 and a half hours, this is crazy

To be fair, the I-10 construction in Texas between Beaumont and Lake Charles is also insane so this isn't completely a Louisiana problem.

It seems like every time we have ventured toward Houston or Temple over the last 30 years, there is nearly always construction between Lake Charles and Beaumont, and even Beaumont to Houston.

The shite around Beaumont sucks. They could've at least made the road a little more smooth so I could run 85 safely.

Westlake is gonna suck if you catch it when they have a lane shut down. Laffy isn't that bad

Sucks around Winnie for about 12 miles then it’s fine till you get to orange.

The whole Lake Charles area sucks cock.

Then it’s good till you get to Breaux Bridge & Henderson to the basin.

Basin to WBR is good. I don’t need to discuss the MS river bridge do I?

Once the construction in Acadiana on I-10 is done, it’ll be 6 lanes both ways and brand new. Something the area really needed. Hopefully they expand I-49 around Carencro for a few miles

Yes, the roads get shittier the closer you get to Louisiana. I think they have been working construction in Orange, TX for YEARS.
