Will it have an offramp to the Baton Rouge Loop?

Have they decided where it’s going to go? Last time I checked, one major hurdle that was never crossed was deciding on a location for the new
Bridge. Might oughta figure out where you’re gonna put it so you have an idea of how much it’ll cost.

Taxation is theft.

If a bridge is profitable a private company could buy rights to the necessary land and build a bridge.

if they put a new bridge off of LA 30 in Ascension to connect to LA 1 by Dow, it will only get about 20,000 vehicles per day and will not make any dent what so ever in the I-10 traffic across the new bridge. any new bridge needs to be on I-10 or needs controlled access (no driveways or traffic signals). just for reference:

Regional River Crossing Traffic Volumes:

Gramercy/Veterans Bridge - 13,200 vpd
Sunshine Bridge - 18,700 vpd
New Bridge - 110,000 vpd
Old Bridge - 7,500 vpd
Audubon Bridge - 5,200 vpd
Plaquemine Ferry - 1,300 vpd
