Idk why I'm still with Farm Bureau. Every year when I have to pay my $50 annual dues I think to myself, "why the frick am I with these people?" But begrudgingly pay it, and forget about it until following November.

How about a prescriptive period longer than 1 year?
This is the simplest solution for "tort reform". Will lead to less lawsuits as there is more than year to settle a case without having to file suit. Less lawsuits means less costs for claims. Very few states have a 1 year prescriptive period.

Any of you Geico baws having problems with them constantly raising the rate? Have had them for 2 years and my starting rate was really good, but they raise my rates every renewal by about 8-$10/ month.

Too bad they already lost me to Progressive.

You’ll appreciate being with Farm Bureau if you ever have a claim. They’re one of the easiest companies to deal with and treat their insurers well.

JBE has nothing to do with it. People have been leaving for years. They are getting killed by independent agents. Independents will save you a lot of money with the same service

Shop your price every year with independent agents

man was I glad found better insurance for about $1000 a year cheaper.
So you're pissed off that they caused you to get better insurance at a cheaper price? Sounds like they did you a favor.

Yes.

Yep took pitures and everything. Hopefully State farm will fight for me and won't surrender.
They will not. Easier to pass costs on to you via premiums.

If they shift on me again I’m going to keep shopping.

My car insurance renews in April. I with Allstate. They try to pull some rate increase tom-foolery this time and it by-by Eldertiger!

how will they be able to pay for that damn She Shed?
Posted on 2/8/19 at 8:52 pm to boosiebadazz
So they raised rates 21% over 2016 & 2017 and geico ate their lunch and now they have lowered the rate three time totally only 7% and JBE did that???

I didn’t switch to Geico from SF because Geico raised the quote over a short period of time. They quoted me a price then a few months later when I went to sign up, the cost was significantly higher and about the same as SF.

I'm about to switch as well. SF is raping my arse.
