What time do I need to get to park to get in line? Any tips? Thanks in advance.

We got up at 430. Arrived at 530 and was middle of the pack. Park opened at 630 and my boarding group number was 41

I've watched multiple filmed versions of the ride on YouTube and it looks entertaining.

Looks like there are some massive sets with life-sized AT-AT walkers and TIE Fighter hangars, before you take a simulator ride thru space. Not bad.

Rode it Friday. It’s a ride and theater combined. Thought it was really well done. Get to the park an hour early. Get on the app when the park opens. I think we got in at 7:30 and stood in line. The app opened at 8. Have your phone ready. The boarding groups are gone in 1 minute for the day. You must be in the park to get in the app and get a group. Pro tip: don’t take a bag so you can go through the fast line to get in the park. We got group 118 and rode the ride around 4pm. Good luck.

The hangar was my favorite part. J felt inside the scene of Vader meeting the emperor

Got to get there a little bit before the park opens and have your phone ready to book the spot when you get in the park, you have to have all members in your group in there before doing it.

I thought Disney actually did a really good job with that ride. The experience itself is much longer than just a hop on a 90 second rollercoaster. The hangar was really cool and the floor you stand on makes you feel like your are in space. its extremely interactive and well thought out.

Con is you have to get there early but if you get there early, you can knock out essentially the rest of the park before going when your boarding pass is called.

This was super cool. The AT-ATs were full size.

With enough time to have turkey legs to double fist while you wait? Or just enough time to waddle through the line food and corn syrup free?

You want to be at the park 90 minutes before opening time. Not to get the boarding group because that is randomly assigned.

It’s to get in front of the thousands of people in the park. While you wait on your boarding group to be called, you can ride a few big rides and clear out a few hours you would have spent waiting for the same rides later in the day.

If you’re staying at a Disney hotel, certain parks have early entry before the public. Be there early and use app immediately.

Some of these responses are ridiculous. Parked our car at 7:30 with zero traffic from our Airbnb 15 mins away. Walked in the park at 7:50 with no bags. Had 5 of us on our phone waiting for 8. The method that worked for us is that a buddy had the app fully closed and opened it immediately at 8 (someone had a clock pulled up with seconds).

This is the absolute best attraction in all of Disney by a long shot. Especially if you are a Star Wars fan.

As long as you have had your ticket/magic band scanned to that park in before the park officially opens, right when the park opens you can claim a boarding pass on the app.

If you have family or friends you want to ride with you, you have to be friends in the app so whoever gets the boarding pass can click all of your names to claim the pass.

Download the app and make sure you can see everyone in your party in it before the day you go to the park.

Closing the app completely is important. I went 10 days after it opened and that was killing people
