I call absolute bullshite that there not someone who messed up equally that you don’t want to crucify. A relative. A friend. Maybe you. Maybe you had a drink once and drove. Maybe nothing happened but are you not just a guilty? Mistakes were made, yes. But it’s laughable how holier than thou people act about things like this.

Personal CSB after watching the Bama arse whipping in 2017, we were driving home on Perkins road when a gal rear-ended us. Our Car was fricked up but drivable, and we were relatively okay.
We pulled into Campus Fed CU parking lot and immediately could tell the gal was drunk. We tried like hell to get her to call a sober friend or family member to come take responsibility for driving her car so she could avoid a DWI. I explained to her she would be much better off paying that person's fines and/or increased insurance premiums over the next 3 years than taking a DWI. We insisted we could wait as long as it took for someone to get there before calling police. But the poor gal insisted she was not drunk and got herself a DWI on top of the at-fault wreck.
So yea. I know that makes me a piece of shite to many of you for trying to protect drunk drivers but that's just being honest.
