Both are true

Even one cyclist is too many.

What’s messed up is they let a dangerous 2 wheeled vehicle like a bike on the road but not safe 4 wheelers

If you are a serious cyclists you can't use them. Too crowed and too many stops.

You sure Frank? Trace is pretty long. Many stretches without stops and not as crowded like Mande to Lacombe and Mande to Abita.

The trace for cyclists that are training or are considered more serious riders is more of an artery to get to some of the roads in North Covington and Lacombe rather than the main ride location.

The Tammany trace bike trail gets used a shite ton all year round

This is true. I did a project recently where we had to shut the trace down. It took us a month to coordinate with the parish for closing it. They said it’s easier to close the interstate than the Trace.

Waste of fricking money. I can tell them exactly where to put bike paths and I’ll do it for 1/4 of the cost of their study.

So I’m curious about this. I don’t have any skin in the game but isn’t there already one that goes across the parish? It passes right by our office on Dove Park Road.

The bicycle lanes in Algiers are packed daily! Just kidding, never actually seen anyone using them other than an occasional crack head on a stolen bike.

This way the poors can get around the parish without a public transit system.
