I said protesting early isn't a bad thing. It helps ensure accountability. That's almost a truism. Not here on the OT though, for some reason.
Would have protesting saying we need more shot like MB been a bad thing? Hell yes. Point being, it depends on the protest.
This protest was not about true justice or true accountability. Does anyone doubt it is being investigated thoroughly? Do you think the majority of protesters, if after a thorough review of the facts, will be completely fine if the cop gets off if it truly was a legitimate action? Ofcourse not. It is not about truth; it was not about justice. It was not about demanding an investigation (they have that and have had that from virtually the beginning and they wouldn't be calling him a murderer and demanding he is arrested if it was an investigation). It was a case of where they made their mind up immediately and nothing is going to change that.
To me, that type of protest has extremely limited value and simply provides a platform for the thugs to come out.
Let me repeat - a protest to demand an investigation - sign me up. But we have had that this entire time. A protest to have someone railroaded as a murderer whether he did it or not... sorry - that is a bad thing.

makes me wonder how much of her inventory she actually owns
Cell phone stores tend to have very limited inventory. A few of each phone (and if boost probably low end) and then all the accessories which have a cost basis of about 50 cents from China (and an MSRP of $20).

If the cop is cleared the networks should just replay the entire OJ trial from car chase to verdict as a reminder.

No chance it would lead to a riot like in Ferguson, amirite?
Are you saying that you have to consider other people's actions and how they might react when you're doing your thing? Because that's opposite of what you said about police releasing information.

I agree. Some posters have said that no early protest is ever warranted until all the facts come out.
