You think that's inaccurate?
I think that all murders are horrendous regardless of who does it to who. But John Doe killing Tom Smith doesn't have the added issues of potential police abuse of power or the potential added issues of an oppressive governmental agency. Now, only time will tell if there in fact was an abuse of power. I would suggest that we've already seen the oppressive governmental agency. So no, Jack killing John on the street is no where near the same situation as a cop killing a citizen and you don't want it to be. If it were the same, the cop would be in jail already.

I have a novel idea. Let's hold all of them accountable.

DOJ must be a bunch of thugs themselves.
Kind of just through that in there cuz I was just hearing it. The political jockeying going on in this case is just as disgusting as anything and creating a more disjointed response to the situation. They are all coming off as a bunch of idiots with their heads up their arse.

people like you are sickening and give me no hope for our future. Has the police dept been perfect? Hell no, not at all. But the blame, all of it, yes all of it, is out at the feet of the people in that community who rioted and looted. Period.
I would say you are sickening but I don't even think you realize you are talking out of both sides of your arse.
Yes, the looters and rioters should and will be prosecuted. To suggest that that needs to be debated is stupid. Obviously they should be. Have never used a sig but I think I'm going to use one that says yes, all looters and rioters must go to jail regardless of any other thoughts.
Have I said anyone else deserves to go to jail? I don't think so. What I have said is the FPD Chief needs to lose his job because of the mistakes he has made. He knowingly and intentionally escalated matters. He should lose his job. Not my fault you want to pick and choose who you want to feel repercussions when they're not perfect.

That community is filthy and disgusting. It needs to be gutted and purged from the inside out
You are a racist and know nothing of the community.
Had you said the looters and rioters need to be rounded up and purged (assuming you mean arrested), I would agree with you.

Everyone, let's stop the thread so reedus can catch up.

They are being prosecuted already.
May be true but history of situations like this in the past would indicate that many will not be caught due to the shear volume. It is nearly impossible with the available manpower.

We should all feel sorry for that community
What percentage of the community do you think you've actually seen in order to make any judgment about the community? Not met, but just seen on TV in order to pass judgment on the community as a whole. Mind you, you didn't say looters/rioters. You said community.

Zero arrest made last night. Police were ordered to stand down. I doubt anyone will be prosecuted.

That clown State Senator Jamilah Nasheed is saying on CNN that MB had no right to be gunned down by police simply for walking down the street.

I say declare a curfew at 10 p.m. anybody caught out after 10 is subject to arrest, anybody caught looting is shot.
Gives the people who peacefully protest time to do their thing, and get home, and will leave only the trouble makers on the street to pick off one by one.
I expect Johnson to do something similar tonight. He will get the support of the community for it during the day. The community was asking for it last night. I think they'll give it to him today.

Not a single word of what I have said has anything to do with race. Accusing me of such weakens any hope you have of anyone here listening to your viewpoint.

And there has been ample, almost universal criticism of the police here.
There is 300+ pages. If you really want to hear it, it's there. Go find it.
As for the police, yes by some. No, by others.
