Voting against it because I don’t want the state to have another avenue to steal money from people.

You can count on the bankruptcy and divorce lawyers supporting it.

Here is a link for the family members, loved ones and friends of the degenerate gamblers.

Don't think it can't happen to you...

So what’s different this time than the last time this already passed?

I think that was fantasy sports only. Things like Draft Kings. Which we passed but still can't play years later

I think this is just regular sports books. Like going into L'Auberge and putting $300 on LSU +40 against Florida.

I voted against it. It will fail by a wide margin in this parish.

If only we had two major cities that had gambling that could tell us how to do this...

Even further, if only we had companies that manage sports books that could do this for us...

They are a bunch of frickups. Its a shame we have to vote on this again.

They will do like they did last time. Wait to the very end of session to discuss it and then time will run out and nothing will get done. The state congress is made of a bunch of fraudsters and moochers.

2022 would be the absolute latest it could be legalized.

They will try in the regular 2021 session to legalize and taxation of the bill, but any special session as we are in right now could bring it up.

Technically they could write up a bill today for its taxation since it's a special session but they won't.

Legalization= Even years
Taxation= Odd years or special session

So is posting on the OT, and yet here you are...

If you’re against this you’re a fricking moron, or part of the video poker lobby, only explanation. Now whether our fricked-up backwards state can implement it is a whole different story.

It will pass in the parishes that currently have large casino. Calcasieu, Bossier, EBR, Orleans. Probably Lafayette as well.
