I just don't know where we are drawing the line between the two.
A guy can work the right muscles with not much weight and get them bigger, and do an conditioning and get really lean, and end up looking shredded without much of a strength gain.
They do it to Hollywood actors for movies all the time.

But isn't that being strong, tho?

Don't go to Mullet Toss then. You'll get laid if you can bench press a Tahoe and not care if you can't tie your shoes.

shredded and moderately strong?
back when I was in the 170 range (I'm 6'2"), I was shredded. I didn't think I was weak though either.

Denied.
Two options in this hypothetical Salmon. Stop ruining the game.

How about cut and strong, but not absolutely shredded?

is strong only defined as "lifting heavy shite"?
or is strong defined as being overall healthy?

All OT'ers are shredded AND strong.

How strong are we talking? I mean, if I'm to have NO muscle definition, I better be a freaking Silverback Gorilla or something.

From what I gather, it's the "Brah, do you even?" standard.

Mix of both. I want to be big enough where You can tell I workout when I'm in a long sleeve shirt, but shredded enough that when I take my shirt off you can see abs and vascularity. Strong goes with being big, I don't want to be powerlifter strong. I'd still want to have weight goals though.

My option is legitimate though. Cut and strong, but not shredded.
ETA: But given the two choices no muscle definition but strong. Then I'll cut.
