I’m surprised Ruston never really took off and grew like an Oxford, MS or Athens, GA or any other town with a quaint college atmosphere. Seems like the potential is there but never really fully immersed itself into growth.

I actually started this thread in the Poli Board as the spinoff to the Shreveport thread. Then thought that I posted in the Poli Board by mistake only to delete the thread and repost here. Then I realized that the Shreveport thread was on the Poli Board and that my thread should not have been deleted.

Yeah Monroe is well behind Shreveport and Shreveport is terrible. Both cities are infested with drugs and dindu nuffins and anybody that claims demographics isn’t part of the problem is lying, trolling, or has never been to either.
