Hook up the generator to the house to power one room with a window unit and the refrigerator. It’s what I did when we lost power during a hurricane one year.

I was out 17 days for Gustav. Things change but you adapt, still having many modern convenances in the food realm made it easier.. the quietness and stillness was what was surprising and to be honest, enjoyable. Many worries of everyday life melted away after about three days and I fell into a routine. Great experience that im glad I went through.
