Spinoff of a spinoff, why exactly do many women hate the word Moist?

I, too, have met several women who despise this word. It doesnt bother my wife, so she is no use in answering this baffling question.
The only girl I ever asked said it was just because of the sound. Oist sound. She didnt like any word that even rhymes with moist, like joist.
Before that I always figured it had to do with female sexual arousal.

They hate moist, but love to moisturize.
Women just don’t make sense.

Because people like to do what is popular and that is as popular as it gets regarding hated words. People who claim to hate certain words are goofy.

Well, so the only legit part of that was Bella response about her thinking moist things are gross.
Which is not why the girl I asked hated it.
So strange for it to be such a hated word among women, but for different reasons.

It’s a joke, they pretend to all hate it because they heard another girl hates it

Groupthink. They were told moist was a gross word and it caught on

It's one of those words that just doesn't sound right, particularly when used to describe a woman. Succulent is another one. To use them in a sentence: The bitch's poontang soon became moist and succulent. Does that sound inviting?

I guess they avoid cake mixes that say moist.
So no Super Moist Deluxe cake for you.
