Dogs are loyal.

Well when you start becoming so emotionally damaged from an animal that it effects other functioning aspects of your life
"Effect" is a noun, not a verb.

I also don't understand the people that say dogs>humans. What kind of shitty humans do you piece of trash motherfrickers hang out with?
I worked in a service industry for many years, and i can say with 100% confidence that dogs are better than a good amount of people i encountered on a daily basis. it's unreal how many worthless people there are in this world.

So you like the fact that you can treat the dog however shitty you want and it will still be your dog? And I'm the sociopath.

And what's with this "emotionally damaged" shite, Mr. Spock.
"Sad" will suffice.
"Sad" will suffice.

Does your wife know she married a sociopath? Be happy your dog isn't capable of recognizing it

OP needs to man up and tell us the purpose of this thread.
"I was just feeling stupid and decided to waste some time" is an acceptable answer because it accomplished that, for sure.

Don't know if you are a sociopath, but you are a moron if that's what you got out of my post.
It was a light hearted joke to describe the unique relationship someone can only get with a dog. If you develop the relationship, a dog will always be there for you with unconditional love. Despite if you got laid off work or get injured

I'm still cracking up at the OP's constant use of "emotionally damaged".
It's like how they talk in those 70's sci-if movies set in the future with the meals in tablet form or something.

Agreed.
I just checked his posting history and he is a certified troll. I get it now. He's a loser. I'm out....

Because they unconditionally love you in spite of all your faults and bad moods, etc, etc. See if you get that from your girlfriend or wife.
Posted on 11/4/15 at 12:11 pm to Walking the Earth
because dogs are for the most part without flaw.
Sure they're capable of pooping or peeing in the house or biting someone.
But they love unconditionally. Probably the only being I've seen like that. That resonates with people.
No matter how many times we fuss at them, leave them home alone, forget to feed them, go to a football game without em, whatever... they don't hold it against us. They know we love them and THEY SHOW IT....All the time, regardless of who's watching or where you're at, or what you're wearing..
If you've ever owned a dog...especially an inside dog...you wouldn't have to ask about the emotional attachment. Dogs can definitely communicate. With their eyes and whimpers and vocal inflections. It's crazy man.

Correct.
If the OP can't understand this, he doesn't have the capacity to feel it. It's his loss, and you can't make people understand what they can't feel.
