Not opposed at all. Only problem with legalization is that it sends the prices through the roof. Upside is that quality can be regulated and sales can produce another revenue source. I say go for it.

I would only respect if he admits that he is a liberal. If he holds himself out as a small government conservative, then no. No respect given.

No, it's people like you. Even somewhat intelligent people understand the difference between alcohol and other drugs

Weird. I thought people like Jim Jones or Ted Bundy were the worst.

I bet you are a fat frick in addition to being lame as frick. Do you use food as a crutch? Laying around watching tv as a crutch? I bet you do.

We all know your kind. Sanctimonious teetotalers such as yourself tend to lack control in other aspects of their lives so put forth this false arrogance and judgement over others to make them feel better about their shortcomings. I almost have empathy for you.

Yea, nothing like an incredible increase in supply and availability to send the price of something skyrocketing, right?

Some of you fricking people on this site, I swear.

More or less fatalities in co since legalization?

Does a fatality have to occur for safety to be jeopardized? I have no ideas if he's right or not.

I can see how logically if we have more people smoking dope away from their homes then some percentage of them will drive back home. Did legalization cause more folks to drive stoned? I have no idea. Would be interesting to know.

I'm for legalization and taxation like alcohol. IDGAF about stoners any longer. Let them do their stoning in peace.

I would probably smoke more often but I have zero control of my appetite when I do. Defintion of a bottomless pit. I am a lightweight so when I do smoke it is only a hit or two so it doesnt really have any negative effect on my aerobic capacity. shite I will sometimes hit my one hitter before going for a run. Makes the run more enjoyable and actually increases your endurance.

A highly taxed and regulated supply will be WAY more expensive than the homegrown "grey market" that develops.

An (illegal) 8th in Texas is $18 cheaper than one in CO, yet CO has infinitely more supply.

Well, yeah. I wasn't disputing that. What about accidents with just loss of a limb or two.

I was just wondering why he focused on fatalities. Safety is more than just not being dead.

Sure it is, which is the thing that changed my mind obout drug policy. The current policy makes society more dangerous just like alcohol prohibition did 90 years ago. I once supported the drug war until I realized the unintended cosequences.

So, your contention is that legalizing pot has made the roads safer in CO? Again, I have no idea.

American roads are safer with legal alcohol?

How did you come to that conclusion? I'm not doubting you. I've just never seen or looked for studies that show this to be true or false.

I imagine the 8th in CO is of much higher quality, and you're also paying for convenience. I think the majority of people would gladly pay a premium over street prices for the legitimacy and convenience that a store offers. Stores can also be one stop shopping. Instead of going to the dealer and then the store for a pipe or papers, you just get it all at the store.

And again, the quality of the product is likely MUCH higher than what you can find on the street in Texas.

My original post of this topic was a response to someone saying that road fatalities are down in CO post legalization. Then that person said that the roads were more dangerous than ever before.
