I had the same spider in my yard..huge web nasty big looking spider. I hate spiders and swore it had to be poisonous....nope just a large orb spider that's common and not poisonous.

See that thing would have instantly been squashed to bits with a mallet so all I could take a picture of is mushed spider guts if that was in my yard
