Glad we’re focused on that instead of the record crime.

The fake construction zones have always been an all time favorite throughout Louisiana.

Wherever you are: School zones are back in effect, and our state's roving revenue collectors are hard at work, protecting citizens from the dangers of driving 28 M.P.H. past a building with kids inside.

The school just north of downtown Denham Springs was demolished after the 2016 flood and just reopened 2 days ago.

Of course the DSPD was already running radar there this AM.

The revenue collectors are a bunch of leaches.

But school zone are not a good place frick around with speeding. Plus school zones dont go for very long.

Now that timing speed trap for the Atchafalaya is pure bull shite.

Just curious, do many of you use gps/waze on your average daily drive?

I only use it for lengthy road trips or new destinations. The only two speeding tickets I've had in the last 15 years, I've had them revised to something else. I typically do the 5-10 over, respectively. Both of those times were above and beyond the typical 5-10 over.
This instance is probably the same, maybe just stay within the reasonable limits.
Interstate locations seem useful to post, but your typical city drive...why? Just don't drive like a complete dumbass.

School zones are there so jackasses will not drive like assholes where there are a bunch of kids coming and going to school.

Hot take Wheels.

Unless that school zone is in a very metropolitan area with narrow streets and lots of foot traffic, they are useless.

They have been expanded to major highways and four lane city streets with zero foot traffic hundreds of feet from any kids.

They exist solely because they are allowed.
