This guy isn’t dumb. He knows the chances of the flight actually happening are low. In the meantime his little T-Shirt company ZoZo and social media stuff is going to clean up on increased revenue over the next 5 years probably offsetting whatever he is paying.

We're not going to expand, at least not beyond the few planets nearby. It's just too difficult. If it were that doable, we'd have aliens visiting by now.
