If you have a halfway decent telescope you can see it and shoot photos of it.

We have a cheap telescope and tried to find it but it was to fast.

I forgot about it and went outside just in time to see it for about 30 seconds. It was bright and just slowly went dark over the Northeast sky. It should be seen again Thursday night at 6:53pm from a West to North pattern.

Moving at over 17,000 mph (~5 miles/sec) and just a bit over 200 miles up.

That is crazy to think about.

And the earth is hurling through space at about 19 miles per second

It was only visible for 2 seconds tonight. Go online to spot the station and give them your cell number. You will get text advance warning when it is visible where you are.
No telescope required.

So AT&T can give the fricking space station cell service but I can’t talk to mom while I’m taking a shite due to dropped calls? Unfrickingbelievable
