God damn you’ve been conditioned to side with the airlines. Sad. Snacks are complimentary baw. If you’re paying hundreds of dollars for a flight the least you could do is offer more variety. Do what delta and other airlines do. You’ve got options for complimentary as well for purchase. If there’s only one option available for all, but someone on the plane has an allergy to something in the mix, now nobody gets any snacks? I’ve seen it happen before with passengers that have hypersensitive nut allergies, not just peanuts.

They switched from peanuts to pretzels years ago.

I know. It was an example. There’s more than one food allergy. The point was still in regards to limiting to one option.

My stance- no Biscotti no care

Once we moved away from Nola Southwest was no longer an inexpensive option for us.
I am also very concerned about pilots dropping planes way too low as of late with Southwest.

How about they put chargers in the seats like every other decent carrier?

And retire some of the cranky old women and pissy little antagonistic fruit loops?

And please take the mics away from those chatty cathys...

Yeah, they really need to get a handle on the pre-boarding fiasco. That was/is really being abused and misused.

Good. The last time I flew SW out of Nola it was obvious a certain group of people had figured out that if you request a wheelchair, both you and your attendant boarded in the first group. I had group 1 position 1 and ended up in the middle of the plane. Get to baggage afterwards and almost all of those people are walking around without a problem. Wondering if this is the underlying reason for the change.

Supposedly in the process, but I haven’t come across a single plane with a charger.

nah, I just don't bitch about the most fixable "problem" you seem to have. As long as they continue to serve booze I legit could not care less what the snack options are.

Southwest is terrible. I HATE flying them. This is a step in the right direction.

Still won't ever get upgraded.

I know people hate on southwest but I have never had an issue with them. If I fly it’s usually with my kids so we all sit next to each other and I pay that extra 25 bucks for early check in.

Back when I traveled a lot, I had a Southwest Visa which doubled the rewards. Every 4 trips, I had a free ticket. Back then so many people had free tickets you couldn't sell them cheap enough in the classifieds. I had tickets go unused all of the time. It was nice being able to fly friends and family to Austin whenever they wanted to come because I always had spare tickets.

So long as you don't want an assigned seat, phone chargers, or upgrades ever. And don't need service to some airports. And you don't ever intent cash in rewards for flights to Europe. And you don't mind cattle call boarding. And you don't mind paying a premium over other discount carriers for this treatment.

Yeah other than all of that Southwest is just awesome.

I will give Southwest credit where it's due. They suck, but they serve good coffee.

They are going to need more changes than that.
