That’s what I thought. Any ideas about temps behind? I’m assuming it’s gonna drop pretty fast.
I don’t think it’s expected to be a really rapid drop, but I would imagine it’ll be falling this afternoon. Gonna stay windy, too.

Can you tell if the storm headed to Eutaw is on the ground or just a radar indicated rotation?

And as quick as this warning was issued, it was cancelled.

That looks better than the one that came over me, and it put one down at times. Hard to tell with the radar being at a million feet there.

No confirmation but it has maintained a strong rotation for a while now.

There is some pretty substantial damage in northern Winston County from an earlier tornado.

That was the Southern warning. I think it and the Northern one probably skipped a tor for a while, doing damage here and there and knocking out power in several places.

It’s amazing how much of a tornado magnet eutaw is
Posted on 1/12/23 at 9:27 am to deltaland
Alabama may have as many of those magnets as Mississippi. There are a handful of tornado corridors in the state.

Came through here overnight - dry. Very windy. We're at 80 degrees yesterday, mid-fifties today

Confirmed tornado near Gainesville, AL. This is the storm moving toward Eutaw.

We have weird shite going on with the power now. Stove clock is on and blanking and a couple of lights have come on, but are dim.
