How about instead of creating a massive pool to buy the property we attack the root of the problem, which is the stupid ordinance against three unrelated persons living in the same place? Who wants to pool together to buy multiple pieces of property near LSU that can't be rented to LSU students?

I'm not a loser. I've been working toward 2 degrees while also working 2 jobs my entire college career. Everything I have, I've bought on my own.

No bites yet... been trying for a while, but it's not really the right timing for the LSU crowd. Yes we are moving and yes we are staying in BR. Just time for an upgrade and I'd rather the equity than dealing with renters.

He's financially vested in the area and an entrepreneur at heart.. I want to say he owned Tiger Rag at one point, he's a lawyer and a decent sized landlord. He will probably not risk his investment but will threaten to just to piss people off.
