Minus the crime. Sad to see so many people out of work, pay cut, etc. Even not being in the oilfield, my livelihood has taken a beating.


The area doesn't lend itself to being good for other industries, so I guess we'll live and die by oil. You know it's bad when ECO is laying people off steadily

You mean ECO and they have been laying people off for a while. They are in trouble. Not looking good for them.

Where do you live? I don't know any able bodied person that is unemployed who I associate with. There was a thread on here last night about all these operator jobs people are getting.

EXXON just announced 20 billion in plans for the gulf coast. Oil prices are cyclical. It isn't the first down turn and it won't be the last

I want to say those 2 parishes of about 220k combined have lost like 14k jobs since the beginning of 15
