There is a huge difference in the upstream and downstream oil and gas markets and how different areas of the state are being affected. Its pretty f'n bad in certain areas

Do any oilfield workers save any money ?
I was layed off for 8 months when the financial crisis hit in 2008 but survived. I drew unemployment and took a shite job for a while.
Most O&G guys I know love to brag about those 8-10K checks but the up and down would drive me nuts. This drop killed one of my Baws, ole boy had a heart attack and killed over. Sad but true.
