I’ve never paid it attention before, but now that you’ve said that I see it too. I could be wrong, but I think the version of the script “A” they have here is an older version. Here is an old picture of the Bear wearing a Bama hat that I believe is close to what I’m talking about.

Ah, ok. I just remember seeing a different A logo for them years ago. Seems like the script “A” back then was not nearly a prevalent as it is now in its current form. When I was a kid this was the main logo I saw used.
