I grew up in big whitetail country and never got into hunting. I just don't like sitting in the cold (legit cold up there) very much.

For me it's sitting on the beach for any longer than 30 minutes. I have to be doing something on the beach. I can't just lounge there for hours on end
Kind of the same, but beaches in general. And I especially don't understand why people pay tens of thousands to go to exotic beaches, when the experience is only marginally different. Is a resort in Bali really all that different from a resort in the USVI? They all seem like the same to me: water + sand + alcohol + sanitised experience.

Getting drunk. Even if I get a little drunk, I feel absolutely awful the next day. Just not worth it.

Moving back to Louisiana
Once my wife retires, we're moving out and the only time we'll be back is for short visits with family and friends.
I'm so done with living in N.O. that it isn't funny, but the wife wants to do 18 more months in her job before punching the clock for the last time, so it's just a waiting game for me.
