I call bullshite.
I've seen every kind of boxed snake known to man. From air express to UPS and it NEVER works.
The only way to properly do a snake surprise is either in the car and hope it curls underneath the driver's seat OR, in the glove box and hope it makes just enough sound to prompt the victim into opening without expecting danger.
In the house while the victim is away does not work unless you feed the viper first, place them in a cold house 15 hours later under the pillow ... and then hope it stays put.
You may drug the victim and then place the viper in the bed with them but, even then, the viper is only likely to cuddle.
I woke up with a western diamondback in my shelter in the Mohave .after Gallant Eagle 82 .... he/she could have given less than a f****. I tossed it and it crawled away.
I call bravo sierra on the cotton balls thing too.

My favorite still to this day after 20 years is the “eat a bag of dicks” music box.
Unless you tear it up and take the battery out, it will not singing those words. Also, when you open it, confettti dicks go everywhere.
Its also anonymous so for 20 years now, i keep getting away with it
