At what point were the fans made to be not welcome based upon their sexual preference? Were there roving bands going throughout the stands beating the shite out of the queers if they found them? Was there a box upon which they had to check that asked their sexual preference and if they answered incorrectly, they weren't allowed in the ballgame?

How in the hell does that change things for you? Please expound on that. Are you implying that one's religion and one's faith should not change the way they do things and what movements they may or may not support?

So lets assume for argument's sake that you're correct here that people are born gay. People are born sinners, we're born apart from God and there's nothing we can do aside from accepting Christ as our lord and savior that will change that. If being queer is a sin, then it stands to reason that God would want us to turn away from that sin like the rest of them. He would want us to repent of the sins we had already committed. It doesn't matter to God whether or not you're gay, straight, a pathological liar, murderer, etc. Sin is sin in God's eyes. So whether or not the gay person were to be married to a woman or stay single forever is immaterial to God.

He was, He is. Jesus went after sinners, and so should we all. What Jesus did not do and would not do is support their sinful lifestyle. He would call for them to repent, He would not persecute them, but he also would not lend his voice in their support.
