Some questions I have regarding the usage of “Y’all”

What in the world is the issue with the use of the term “y’all” in addressing a group of diverse people? In this day of gender neutrality, wouldn’t it be a lot more appealing to the gender police over say “you guys”?

That's why I say, "you sons a bitches"

Progressives now see y'all as a more proper address than you guys.

"Y'all" is Southern, and the South is made up of snake-handling inbreds who lynch people of color

Y’all rhymes with baw. That should suffice.

Y'all is far superior to "you guys"

No question in my mind.

What if someone has a mother that transitioned to a man, shitlord?

How about you’ins?
Did not know that and "us'ins" were real terms until a few months ago.

In my county in east Tennessee, it's not you'ins it's
you'nes, pronounced you.uns and it's short of you ones.
And there are some counties here where it's common among friends, and others where it isn't heard. (I'm referring to folks who grew up in these parts, not the emigrants from cold winters and the half back who were immigrants to the deep south and then went half way back home.)

Why isn’t there an actual word for the plural form of “you”? All the words we have, and they decided we didn’t need one for that?

I never thought about it like that but you are exactly right. I’m pretty sure in most Romance languages there is a plural form of you
