re: Some preferred pronoun discussion - using “they”

If someone has the pronoun thing, I just don't interact with them at all. Complete waste of time. Even if you can remember to get their pronouns right, they are just waiting to be offended. You'll say something else innocuous that will set them off. They just enjoy the endorphin rush of getting offended and being pissed.

You want me to call you "they" well then, there is some mental illness dwelling deep inside.
All this time I assumed you were lying in how you crafted your responses to posts, but I’m starting to think that you’re genuinely mentally ill.

Pronouns are words (or phrases) you substitute for nouns when your reader or listener already knows which noun you’re referring to. For example, you might say, “I have a dog. She’s brown and white.” There’s no need to clarify that you’re describing your dog in the second sentence because you already mentioned her in the first. With the pronoun she’s, you can avoid annoying repetition of dog.
Instead of clarifying, retards use things like "they" which does the opposite of what pronouns were mean to do.

"He or she" is an awkward as shite construction and is also poor way to handle such a situation. Strunk & White suggests to just pick one or avoid the situation by using a different descriptor, for example. I'm not mandating how anyone speaks. For me, I am going to choose to speak in the least ambiguous manner so I can best express myself to my audience. That's the purpose of language. It's ambiguous to refer to individuals using plural pronouns. It's even more confusing when the same subject's action is described by a singular verb in one sentence and a plural verb in another just because the proper name was used in the former and a pronoun in the latter. The pronoun is no longer serving its function of replacing a proper name in those cases. It's a regression in communication ability, so I won't do it.
I have no issue with any of that, as your position is that it shouldn’t be done. I’m taking umbrage with people who argue, incorrectly, that it isn’t commonly done, and has been done for quite some time.
