re: Some people still believe the Earth is flat.

My first proof does not assume the sun is larger than the Earth. It doesn't matter for this, as a smaller sun would work just the same. Sunlight (and all light) doesn't just stop, it keeps going until it hits something, so it would continue moving from all angles to light up the earth regardless of size.

My second proof uses the word "assume". Oh no! No big deal, take out the word assume and continue.

And apparently I had a typo on the last sentence. Surprised you didn't understand it though, considering it was senseless nonsense, just like the rest of the Flat Earth theories

you have to understand,

"world" back then, was all of Palestine

how big is your world today?
how big was it as a child?

It's interesting because globeheads are now saying that we can only see curvature from above 150,000 feet or higher. So, why would they should curvature from a skyscraper?? That alone exposes their lies.?

People will believe anything. fricking anything. Especially nowadays with the internet.

Actually a solid thread. I never thought about why I believe the earth is round.

My thoughts:

1. When you're high up enough you can see the curvature of the earth.

2. When out at sea, you can see a ships mast yet not the hull at a distance. Living by the water, I have seen this phenomenon many times.

3. Flat earth would make a lunar eclipse, as I perceive the event it, non existent.

Photos from Nasa and other agencies could be faked so that is not sufficient proof indeed.
