I did a Cajun Encounters bus tour in November and thought it was just a good snapshot of the city. It took a solid 3-4 hours, but some of that was with breaks at a cemetery and park. 9th Ward looked pretty good compared to Detroit IMO.

Check out Original New Orleans Movie Tours. It's a really great experience to see all the filming location that's being used around the city.

She's like the definition of the target market for that silliness.

I like small plates. I prefer getting to try multiple cuisines in one meal versus going to some Italian joint and gorging myself in a 2,500 calorie pasta.

There's better options on Magazine. Sucre's stuff is pretty but that's about where it ends. Go check out La Boulangerie or O’Delice instead.

Do the gondola ride at sunset and if he still has the wine and cheese option get it. The girlfriend will love it.

-take a horse buggy ride around the FQ
- rent a 2 person mini car and cruise the surrounding area
-go to a burlesque show
-do a jazz brunch(go to Food board for specific options)
-aquarium can pass time but is meh to me
- harrahs casino if you want to gamble
-walk up bourbon street, then cut over & back down Royal
- art museum
-street car ride into uptown. Have a destination to go, just dont ride.

id say no to going to "parks" or WW2 museum(more of a guy thing).

I checked and the only time available is Saturday at 8. Was thinking it might not be as cool while it's dark.

Sunset is the best time, but anytime in the day is good. Also, when do the clocks jump ahead an hour? When I went he didn't do a nighttime ride.

Daylight Saving Time (United States) begins Sunday, March 8, 2015, 2:00am

Sunset is 655pm. I would guess 8pm is pushing it for a ride.
